Dorinda Forbes, Managing Director.

Dorinda’s background is in the high-pressure worlds of media, PR and marketing. She has a proven record of success in all areas of business and contract management, the key to the latter being her strengths in getting information, analysing it and then 'making it happen'.  These skills now benefit DTEP's clients, ensuring their needs are our priority.  Dorinda's background also enables her to meet deadlines with great efficiency whilst keeping her excellent customer relationships, team and sense of humour intact.

Having taken the opportunity presented by the formation of Down to Earth to pursue her interest in gardeing, Dorinda leads the staff by example.  She has lived in Australia as well as the UK which has given her an appreciation of the affect of climate on horticulture. Under her and Jamie’s guidance, Down to Earth has grown dramatically from a small one-man band to a company committed to excellence and providing the client with what they want.

Jamie Forbes, MBA, Chief Executive Officer.

Jamie has always been involved with management. Initially as an officer in the armed forces, then as an investment property manager, moving on to the position of Commercial Manager and then Commercial Director in a dynamic business based in Scotland.

In 2001 he met his now wife, Dorinda, and moved from Scotland to Hampshire. Working as CEO of a small media company in London the difficulties of long distance commuting required a challenge closer to home, and Down to Earth was born.

Jamie is currently working on a project overseas so this chap is standing in for him.
