Charity begins at Home-Start
The Down to Earth Partners Ltd (DTEP Ltd) ran two workshops during August in conjunction with Home-Start, the UK's leading family support charity.
These gave families with young children simple demonstrations and advice on 'How to Grow Your Own Food'. The first workshop took place in Salisbury on 7th August and was much enjoyed by everybody. In particular, we looked at how easy it is to grow a variety of herbs from cuttings. A second workshop took place on 24th August.
Home-Start has a network of trained parent volunteers supporting thousands of parents through difficult times including post-natal illness, bereavement, the illness of a parent or child, or social isolation. To find out more, please visit www.home-start.org.uk
